STALKER 2 was released recently, and the modders have already managed to create pleasant additions for the game. One of the most interesting was the mod, adding a parkur-like climbing system to the game, which allows you to climb into previously inaccessible objects.
The mod of the Ledge Grabbing Mod allows the main character of Skifo to climb to objects just above his head level. This improves the convenience of interaction with the environment and opens up new opportunities for vertical gameplay. Players will now be able to explore places that were previously unavailable and find hidden hiding places.
For example, in the village of beginners there is a cache on the roof of the house. Near the house is a truck that seems ideal to climb on the roof. However, in the original game, Scythyth cannot climb a truck, although fences of similar heights are overcome without problems. Without fashion, access to this cache is impossible – there are no stairs, no boxes, no hidden passages inside the house. With this mod, the player will be able to climb the truck and finally get to the cherished prey.
The mod is presented in two versions:
- The basic version allows Scyph to climb to the objects with a height of his head.
- The second version makes it possible to climb lower objects.
Both versions also offer options with a reduction in end-intensity costs during close combat and jumping.
The parkour system significantly improves the quality of life in the game by adding more freedom in research and tactical maneuvers. Now you will be able to climb on trucks, roofs and fences to hide from mutants, explore hard-to-reach places and open new hiding places.
