Path of Exile 2 confirms system requirements of the game before launching early access

The independent studio Grinding Gear Games is preparing to launch the long-awaned Path of Exile 2 next month as part of early access. The developers honestly warn that the project is still far from the final version both in terms of gameplay and in technical terms. Many aspects of the game will be actively refined based on user feedback, including optimization. Today, representatives of the studio published the final system requirements for the launch of Path of Exile 2.

Despite the fears of players caused by the transfers of the release date, the system requirements meet the previously stated configurations. Path of Exile 2 is developed on an improved version of the original game engine, which made it possible to implement a variety of visual and mechanical improvements. However, this led to some increase in requirements compared to the first part. The game will require the Intel Core i7-777c or AMD Ryzen 5 2500X with 8 GB of RAM, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 and Intel Arc A380 or AMD Radeon RX 470 graphics card. At the same time, the project will require about 100 GB of free space on the disk.

As for the recommended iron, developers advise using the power level equal to the Intel Core i5-10500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3700X with 16 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, Intel Arc A770 or A RaMDeon RX 5600XT.

Additional technical details, including graphical settings and supported technologies, will become known after the early version of the game is launched. At the same time, Grinding Gear Games promises to work actively on optimization. However, system requirements are unlikely to be revised.

Path of Exile 2 will be released early on December 6 on PC.
