This week, the long-suffering GTA: The Trilogy received the first patch in a long time with a lot of editing. Among other things, Rockstar Games removed part of the mention of Grove Street Games, the studio responsible for remasters. GSG boss Thomas Williamson (Thomas Williamson) sharply commented on this change.
In the social network X, Williamson did not turn to Rockstar directly, but made an unaniful hint:
Purely hypothetically: In the top, remove the main developers from the credits – cattle, especially if the update contains hundreds of fixes that were provided by these developers and could not reach the players for years.
Speaking entire hypothetically: It’s a dick move to remove primary developers from credits in an update, especially when an update includes hundreds of fixes that were provided by those developers that stayed out of players’ hands for years.Thomas Williamson (@TSWilliamson) November 14, 2024
Williamson, ass, is cunning: the mention of Grove Street Games in the credits just remained – the name of the team disappeared only from the initial screens, as well as from the copyright section.
Users X took the words of the director in the caves, criticizing the reprints from his team.
