Netflix and Riot Games have announced the sequel to Arcane in three new series that will delane deeper into the world of League of Legends. Showrunner Christian Linke confirmed that the events of new projects will unfold in the regions of Knoxus, Demascia and Ionia.
In an interview with the streamer Necrit94 Linke noted that these shows will tell new stories, but also continue some storylines from Arcane.
We are really covering the world of Runeterra. Now we have the opportunity to create series that tell more stories, including the development of those that have already begun.
On the new series will again work a talented animation studio Fortiche, which has received many awards for working on “Arcane”. However, it is not yet known when exactly the audience will be able to see these series.
Linkke added that the production of the next show began about a year ago, so it may be less than three years to wait for it, as in the case of the second season of “Arcaine”.
In addition, the recent leak hints that in 2025, the League of Legends will hold a season dedicated to Knoxus, and in the game Mel herself from Arkaine will appear.
